Ilish Chatwar is located near Bus stand and in front of Chandpur Stadium. A Tourist can go to Ilish Chatwar by Rickshaw, Auto rickshaw; or his/her own transport from the main hub of the city ' Shapoth Chattor'. The distance from Shapoth Chattor to Ilish Chatwar is 1 Kms.

            on a round base situated opposite to main entrance of Chandpur

            Stadium, which is known as ‘Ilish Chatwar’. Architect Swapan

            Acharya made the plan and Pourashava of Chandpur constructed

            this statue which upholds the tradition of Hilsha of river-bound

            Chandpur and it can easily attract tourists.
